So today I will be un-boxing the Brimbles Box for April. I used to be subscribed monthly but I cancelled due to wanting to try a variety of subscriptions. I find that this box when buying one off and subscribing monthly is at a very reasonable price point. It is a good way of building up your craft stash without breaking the bank.
My single one off box cost £18 with £4.50 signed for postage. Aprils theme was Owls a book that.
So this is the card that has a little message on the back explaining the theme of the box.
The next things I opened were these box embellishments and tabs. I adore this colour scheme, I’m gonna make some box paperclips with these they are the perfect size for my new TN.
These stamps were my favourite thing in the box this month. They have pretty much every option you need to stamp on to the tabs. There is every month, to do, diary, meal plan, contacts and lots more.
I really like the size of the stamps, great for portability. I’m also interested in using them in my TN inserts as the don’t up too much space and it means I don’t need to use my crap handwriting.
This trio of stickers are perfect for planning and journaling. I love how Anna has included the floral design onto the wings of the owls. It feels very spring like which is perfect as we have just started to get the spring weather. The functional stickers are perfect for keeping me on track with my tasks. I love the checklists with three dots, these will be used for me trying a new productivity tool of listing my top 3 tasks each day.
Now onto the double sided papers, so you get two of each design. Which means no need to pick your favourite side. The picture above shows the front and back of each design. I have to say as simple as it is, my favourite is the squiggles that look like scoring out marks. It is very pleasing to the eye, and as much as I’m not a floral person I do love the way that Anna designs flowers.
Last but my no means least is the cut apart paper sheet. This can be used in a few different ways. You can cut them up to become journal cards, you could cut through them to create a collage.
I just want to say that this subscription box stands out as each item was designed my Anna Brim, her artwork is unique and has a very happy feel to it. If you don’t want to sign up to the box, Anna sells the leftovers of certain items in her shop so you can pick up the stamps, tabs and stickers by themselves.
If you need any help coming up with ideas on how to use your items then don’t forget to join the Mrs Brimbles Happy Place Facebook group.
Until next time,
